Volunteers working on the chicken and bunny enclosure at Saving Grace Animal Sanctuary

Volunteers Needed!

We're currently looking for regular volunteers who can commit to at least one visit per month (but more is certainly welcome!) for a minimum period of 6 months.

If you're interested in volunteering, please fill out this application.

Roll up your sleeves, the animals need you! Volunteering is a wonderful way to be energized by goodness!

Saving Grace relies on the generosity of volunteers in order to make sure that each project gets completed. Feed bags need to be filled, fences need to be built, and animals need to be played with! We're even looking for a few dedicated individuals to help us run fundraising events. No job is too big or too small here at Saving Grace!

What you'll do as a Volunteer

Volunteering at Saving Grace is hands-on, heart-full, and different every visit. Your time with us may include:

  • Cleaning out enclosures: keeping the animals' living spaces clean and comfortable is one of the most important things we do. Not glamorous, but the animals appreciate it more than you know.

  • Filling hay bags and preparing food bowls: making sure every resident has a full belly.

  • Refreshing some of the water stations: every little bit helps keep the sanctuary running smoothly.

  • Repairs and light maintenance: handy with a hammer or paintbrush? There's always something to fix or improve around the property.

  • Walking the animals: our mini horses, Bradley the sheep, and the dogs love a good stroll around the sanctuary.

  • Giving love: scratches behind the ears, quiet time with the animals, brushing, sitting with a cow who just wants company. This part is non-negotiable.

No experience with farm animals needed. Just come ready to get your hands dirty for a really good cause.

Family Volunteers Together at Saving Grace Animal Sanctuary
We were honored by a visit from internationally acclaimed Animal Communicator, soon to be bestselling author and dear friend, Candi Cane Cooper. What a great day! She brought us a copy of her new, soon to be bestselling, book, ‘Afterlife of Animals’. It is an amazing read. She also visited with each and every resident. You’ll be pleased to know everyone checked in as feeling safe and happy.💜
